Within the scope of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of our Republic and the 40th anniversary of our Faculty; the 13th International Macsabal Silk Road Symposium which is the ancient city Gordion was selected for the world heritage list is the theme of, , and it is being held on 25 September - 8 October 2023 with 16 invited artists.

In the early republican history, there was a paving the way for equality in education, sending children abroad on scholarships, establishing village institutes, and women's participation in politics and public service. In this context, the event to be held in this framework is important in terms of creating a general perspective on women's education in the Early Republican Period and containing all aspects related to the steps taken in this period regarding women in the field of education.
