With the increasing adoption of barrier-free society and accessible university policies today, Deaf individuals have begun to take a more active role in social, educational, and professional life. However, communication barriers still remain a significant challenge. This training aims to provide university students, as well as academic and administrative staff, with knowledge about the fundamental structure of Turkish Sign Language and Deaf culture, while also raising awareness and sensitivity in communication with Deaf and hard-of-hearing or speech-impaired individuals.
