The Family Services Practice and Research Center (AHUM) will organize a symposium titled “Symposium to Commemorate The Students We Lost in The Earthquake” on Wednesday, May 03, 2023, between 13.00-15.00 on Zoom. The symposium will start with a moment of silence and a lament composed by the Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı for the 17 students we lost. The symposium will be moderated by AHUM director Doç. Dr. Nilgün KÜÇÜKKARACA. In the symposium, the scholars who are working in social work, psychiatry, sociology, and psychology departments will discuss the topics of Disaster and Crisis, Disaster and Grief, Disaster and Society, and Coping in Disaster Situations.
