This month we host Dr. Muhammet Toprak, from the department of Economic History at Marmara University, at the Demography Conferences of Hacettepe University Institute of Population Studies. He is going to present one of his latest studies, an analysis of 18th century Ottoman court records and probate inventories as a source for demographic history.
