ON THE WAY TO PORCELAIN BLUE-WHITE CERAMICS ARE IN THE MUSEUM OF ANATOLIAN CIVILIZATIONS
The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations presents the unique blue and white ceramic pieces of 60 ceramic artists from Italy, the Netherlands and Turkey on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 13.30 as part of Museum Day. This exhibition, which is an extension of the centuries-old tradition of intercultural cooperation, is one of the most inclusive events in the field of ceramic art. The main motto of this exhibition, which presents contemporary art with a new approach by combining it with tradition, can be summarized as “respect for the past and a present for the future”. This significant cultural and artistic event, which has many stakeholders such as the Embassy of the Netherlands, the Embassy of Italy and Hacettepe University, is not only limited to an exhibition, but is a celebration of contemporary art by the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, including the presentations of Prof. Dr. Filiz Yenişehirlioğlu from Turkey, artist Mirta Morigi from Faenza, Italy and artist Pepijn Van Den Nieuwendijk from Delft, the Netherlands, which will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Candan Dizdar Terwiel as well as a Panel Discussion and a Concert.
This event, which is a significant contribution to the cultural activities of our country, is an exemplary project, being led by GaleriM Art Gallery, which is one of the most respected galleries in Ankara, and with the great contribution of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.
