The second phase of the online training for young people between the ages of 18-30 of the Green Gaming Project, supported by the European Commission Executive Agency within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program Virtual Mobilities (Virtual Exchanges), with partners from 6 different countries (Turkey, Sweden, Italy, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Tanzania) and a total of 13 affiliate partners, is starting. The trainings of the Green Gaming Project, whose project manager is Dr. Özgür Yaşar Akyar from Hacettepe University, will be carried out in cooperation with the Hacettepe University Lifelong Learning Center, with the contributions of academicians from Hacettepe University, TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Kocaeli University and experts from the Renaissance Institute Association.

Project of Firsts: Green Gaming
The Green Gaming project, carried out within the scope of the Erasmus+ Program Virtual Mobilities grant call, was one of the 11 projects that received grant support out of 69 project applications. Bringing together universities and civil society organizations from 6 different countries, the Green Gaming Project is the first Erasmus + Virtual Exchange grant-supported project to be carried out in Turkey, supported by the European Commission Central Executive Agency.

Gamification-Based Trainings to Increase Climate Change Awareness
Designed within the scope of the Erasmus + grant program of the European Union (EU) in the fields of Education, Youth and Sports, the project will provide young people with the opportunity to discuss environmental issues, which are universal issues, and to establish connections from different countries. The project aims to contribute to young people’s access to high-quality international and intercultural education without physical mobility. Young people between the ages of 18-30 who want to participate in the trainings that will start on December 12, 2024 will be able to register and participate in the activities free of charge.

2500 Young People Will Be Reached with Online Facilitated Dialogues and Interactive Online Open Courses

It is aimed to reach a total of 2500 young people with the project activities that will continue for 3 years with the cooperation of partners from 6 different countries. As a result of the awareness-raising and dissemination activities to be carried out during the project, it is aimed to increase the awareness of 10 thousand young people about climate change.
