This seminar will include practical information such as the importance of international publications, methods of finding suitable journals for a completed article, avoiding predatory journals and journal pirates, database knowledge and correct directories, the structure of a typical article submission folder, article uploading and editing processes.

Prof. Dr. Yavuz AKBULUT received his bachelor's degree from Boğaziçi University, Faculty of Education, Department of English Language Teaching in 2002, and his master's degree from Boğaziçi University, Social Sciences Institute, Department of English Language Teaching, in 2005. He completed his doctorate in 2008 at Anadolu University, Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. Akbulut, who has been working at Anadolu University Faculty of Education since 2006, has carried out many scientific studies during this period, took part in national and international research projects, and took part in the evaluation boards of important journals and projects in his field. His research interests include human-computer interaction, multitasking performance and informatics ethics.
