Dr. Durgun and his team are working on nanomaterials using quantum mechanics-based computational science techniques. His research focuses specifically on two-dimensional (2D) materials, examining the prediction of new 2D materials and possible applications. In this talk, the contribution of 2D materials to clean and sustainable energy production, which is one of the most important problems of today, will be discussed using supercomputers and smart algorithms. In this context, we will seek answers to the following basic questions together.
