This seminar will explore how AI-powered avatar video production tools (such as HeyGen and Synthesia) can be integrated into instructional design processes in higher education as an innovative teaching tool. The session will discuss the potential of these tools in enhancing lectures, creating interactive video content, and providing personalized feedback to students, as well as their contribution to student motivation and the creation of inclusive learning environments. In addition, ethical and pedagogical issues such as privacy, copyright, and the perception of artificiality will be critically examined.
