As Hacettepe University Faculty of Education, we are organizing a Mother's Day event themed "A Strong Family with a Mother" to honor our mothers and all women. Our event will take place on May 16, 2025, at 13:30 in Tunçalp Özgen Congress and Cultural Center. The event will include an opening exhibition, speeches, a musical performance, and a panel titled "Being a Mother: Motherhood as a Universal Bond”. The panel will be featured by journalist/writer Fadime Özkan, Edibe Sinem Ersoy, General Secretary of the Cerebral Palsy Children's Association, and Sevim Usta, a martyr's mother representing the Veterans and Martyrs Families Foundation.
