Prof. Dr. Sinan Canan graduated from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science at Hacettepe University in 1995 and started his master's education in the Department of Histology-Embryology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ondokuz Mayıs University the same year, specializing in stereology. He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine, Ondokuz Mayıs University and continued his academic career as a lecturer in the Department of Physiology at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, where he later received the title of assistant professor. Prof. Dr. Canan is among the founding members of the Turkish branch of the International Society for Stereology and shares his scientific work on various platforms. Since 2016, he has been working as a professor in the Department of Psychology at Üsküdar University and has also founded the movement [n]Beyin and AçıkBeyin Education and Consulting company with the aim of bringing science and the public together.
