The “IEEE Authorship and Open Access Symposium,” organized for the IEEE database provided by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM, aims to guide researchers through the academic publishing process.
During the event, participants will learn how to enhance the visibility and impact of their research, improve their chances of publication, and understand what editors and reviewers look for in submitted manuscripts. The session will also cover common reasons for rejection, selecting the right journal, and the benefits of publishing in open access journals.
Additionally, the symposium will address guidelines for using AI-generated text, how to identify predatory journals, and effective research strategies using the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Information about IEEE’s open access options for authors and institutions will also be shared.
At the end of the session, a live Q&A will allow participants to ask questions directly to IEEE experts.
