An information session on the WIDERA programme will be held on 16 January 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Hall, with the participation of Ms. Merve Aydemir Aydın, TÜBİTAK National Contact Point, to share the latest information on the programme and introduce the programme calls.
The Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area (WIDERA) component of the Horizon Europe Programme is a strategic programme that aims to strengthen the research capacity of universities, promote scientific excellence and achieve sustainable transformation at the institutional level.
In this context, considering Hacettepe University's academic expertise, strong research infrastructure, and interdisciplinary research potential, calls under the WIDERA programme present significant opportunities for our university and faculties.
Following the event, it is intended to conduct brief evaluations for participating academics and faculties and to develop roadmaps for suitable calls.
