Hacettepe University Center for Genomics and Rare Diseases (HUGEN), in collaboration with the HÜTBAT Rare Diseases Student Study Group, will organize a meeting titled "Drug Development Processes in Rare Diseases" as part of the 2026 Rare Diseases Day. The meeting, which includes sessions on "Rare Diseases from a Student's Perspective: Overview and Survey Studies," "The Past and Present of a Rare Disease Example," and a panel titled "Treatment in Rare Diseases: A Drug You Don't Use Is Useless," will bring together medical students and experts in the field for an interactive discussion. All students, academics, and anyone interested are invited to attend.
