The Atatürk Institute, within the scope of Republic Day of October 29th celebrations and the Atatürk Commemoration of November 10th, is organising a panel titled ‘Biography in Republican Era Historiography’ in collaboration with the Atatürk Research Centre, with the aim of conducting a detailed study of Turkish history, which Atatürk also attached importance. This scientific event, which will take place in two sessions, will feature renowned experts in the field discussing how the concept of biography, defined as a detailed account of a person's life, is used in historical studies, particularly in Republican Era historiography. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Tuğrul İnal Hall of the Faculty of Letters, Beytepe. The event language is Turkish.
