This seminar explores volunteering and psychosocial support in disaster settings through field experiences following the February 6 earthquakes in Türkiye. Drawing on cases, observations, and experiences from the disaster area, it addresses the psychosocial needs of disaster-affected individuals, the responsibilities and challenges of volunteers, and the importance of solidarity. The seminar aims to provide participants with a practice-oriented understanding of disaster response by connecting professional knowledge with real-life field experiences.
