Products such as stamps and seals have maintained their importance throughout history in terms of conveying their content in a limited space. Those miniature products form an important archive for the artistic and cultural resources of the society. They provide valuable information about the history, culture, institutions, tourism, folklore of a society. These kinds of products, which are communication tools and unique works of art, as well as valuable documents, appear today as works of art that bring collectors together. Both products are common resources of post offices, libraries and museums as communication tools. Each stamp is a storyteller, each seal is a unique communication tool with the message it conveys, but also a work of art.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the adoption of the National Anthem by Hacettepe University, a symposium, workshop, stamp and seal design competition and a race were organized on the idea and argument of Independence.
