Hosted by Hacettepe University History Department, the Symposium of “History Studies in Turkey and Hacettepe University History Department” will be held between December 6-7, 2021. The main purpose of the symposium is to bring together history students, instructors and researchers and to think about current history studies and the plans for the development of history. Within this framework, one of the seven sessions will be allocated to figure out the contributions of Hacettepe University History Department to Turkish Historiography and it is hoped that this session might be a model for figuring out the contributions of other history departments to the field.
